A Veterinary Clinic Built on Trust

Wasaga Beach Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned veterinary practice that has proudly served the local community since 2006. We believe great veterinary care goes beyond medicine. It is about trust, honesty, and building lasting relationships with the families who rely on us.

Our team is committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality care while taking the time to explain options clearly and compassionately. Every pet is treated as an individual, and every client is treated with respect, care, and understanding.

Dr. Holly Spring, DVM

Veterinarian & Co-Owner

Proudly Serving WBVC Since 2018

Dr. Holly Spring has been proudly caring for pets and their people in the Wasaga Beach community since 2018 — but her connection goes much deeper. Having grown up in this area, she feels incredibly grateful to now serve the same community that helped shape her. Being able to support families and their pets throughout every stage of life is one of the greatest joys of her career.

Her clinical interests include dermatology, senior feline medicine, and emergency care — a diverse mix that keeps her curious, engaged, and always learning. Holly is passionate about community-focused veterinary care and loves building long-term relationships with both pets and their people.

Outside the clinic, Dr Spring can often be found lifting heavy things at CrossFit, listening to music, or spending time with her beloved pets, Tina and Doris. And a fun surprise fact: she plays the trombone!

Dr. Cameron Lindsay, DVM

Veterinarian & Co-Owner

Proudly Serving WBVC Since 2018

Dr. Cam Lindsay has been part of WBVC since 2018 and is passionate about helping people keep their pets healthy. As both owner and veterinarian, Cam enjoys working closely with clients and feels fortunate to collaborate every day with an exceptional veterinary team.

Cam has a special interest in surgery, with a particular love for dental procedures. Whether it’s restoring a smile or tackling a challenging case, surgery is where Cam feels most energized and fulfilled.

At home, Cam shares life with three very different—but equally beloved—pets: Pete, a resilient 19-year-old toothless cat; Jerry, a spirited 4-year-old St. Bernard mix with plenty of attitude; and Myrtle, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier whose peculiar appearance is rivaled only by her enormous heart.

Outside of the clinic, Cam enjoys back-country camping and painting Warhammer figurines—two hobbies that offer both adventure and artistry. And a fun fact clients might not guess? Cam takes an afternoon nap almost every day, a ritual that keeps things running at full power.

Dr. Autumn Kelly, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Autumn Kelly graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2016, and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2020.

For the past five years, Dr. Kelly has been a dedicated member of the team at Wasaga Beach Veterinary Clinic. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, peaceful end-of-life care, nutrition, and dermatology. She is passionate about supporting both pets and their owners through all life stages with empathy, communication, and high-quality medical care.

During her time in school, she adopted her beloved companion, Maybelle, from the local humane society. Maybelle—her white, floofy ray of sunshine—remains a joyful presence and a reminder of the meaningful connections that inspire her work every day.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kelly enjoys an active lifestyle that includes CrossFit, hiking, cycling, and rock climbing. She also considers herself a foodie, always excited to explore new restaurants, flavors, and culinary adventures.

Dr. Julia Scott, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Julia Scott grew up in Springwater, where a deep appreciation for animals and the outdoors shaped her early interests. This love of animals and agriculture led Dr. Scott to the University of Guelph where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science, prior to completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the Ontario Veterinary College.

During her veterinary training, Dr. Scott developed strong clinical interests in soft tissue surgery, pain management, and geriatric care. She is committed to preventative medicine and strives to help pets enjoy long, comfortable, and healthy lives.

Outside of work whether she’s running, playing hockey, or spending quality time with her family, friends, or her dog Oakley, Dr. Scott values life balance and staying physically active.

Maura

Registered Veterinary Technician

Registered Veterinary Technician & Hospital Administrator

Maura grew up in Owen Sound, Ontario, where her love for animals began at a young age through her involvement in 4-H. She graduated with honours from the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College in 2007 and has been a dedicated member of the veterinary field ever since.

Maura has a special interest in surgery and anesthesia, as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day function of both the hospital and the team. As Hospital Administrator, she is passionate about creating an efficient, supportive environment that allows the entire team to provide the best possible care for patients and clients.

Outside of work, Maura enjoys baking, gardening, binge-watching her favourite Netflix shows, and spending time with her family.

Rebecca

Registered Veterinary Technician

Team organizer

Rebecca is a Registered Veterinary Technician and Sheridan College graduate with a passion for pet rehabilitation and nutrition—because every animal deserves to move like a puppy and snack like royalty (responsibly, of course).

Her mission is to help pets feel their best, one comforted patient and grateful family at a time.

At home, Rebecca is dog mom to Berkley, a two-year-old Lab powered entirely by zoomies, and Sadie, a six-year-old Golden Retriever who believes the world is a scary place unless snacks are present.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her playing baseball, hiking, or cooking something that hopefully turns out edible.

Working at Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic is a daily highlight for Rebecca, as she’s surrounded by passionate, caring teammates who make even the busiest days worth it.

Fun Fact/Life Motto: Fueled by candy and colour-coded plans, Rebecca brings empathy, snacks, and a splash of fun to every part of her day.

Alaina

Registered Veterinary Technician

Part-Time Chicken/Donkey Wrangler

Alaina is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated with honours from Georgian College in 2023 and joined the Wasaga team shortly after. She loves helping animals when they need it most and forming strong, trusting bonds with their owners.

When she’s not at the clinic, Alaina lives on her lively “funny farm,” surrounded by ducks, chickens, horses, and a mini donkey named Hank. Her loyal sidekicks include Ace, a 7-year-old German Shepherd, and Lily, a 9-year-old Rottweiler.

Known for her upbeat personality and infectious laughter, Alaina thrives in a team that finds the silver lining in every day — even the muddy, messy, or chaotic ones.

Personal Motto: “If it has paws, hooves, or feathers, it has my heart.”

Hannah B

Registered Veterinary Technician

Cat-Obsessed Vet Tech & Wandering Wild-Heart

If there’s a cat in the room, Hannah has already spotted it. A nature-loving traveller who has explored 41 countries, Hannah is happiest outside — hiking mountains, camping under the stars, or surfing the perfect wave.

She studied Environmental Studies at Algonquin College before graduating from Georgian College as a Veterinary Technician in 2025. Now she brings that passion for animals (especially the whiskered, purring kind) to the Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic.

Powered by matcha, adventure, and a clinic team she absolutely adores, Hannah is here to help furry friends feel their best — but beware: cats may steal her attention at any moment.

Personal Motto: Easily distracted by cats. Zero regrets.

Jolene

Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant & Animal Enthusiast

Jolene is one of our Veterinary Assistants and a proud graduate of Sheridan College’s Animal Care program. Animals have always been her first love, and she feels right at home working alongside such an amazing team at Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic.

When she’s not caring for patients, Jolene is busy keeping up with her one crazy Boston Terrier, Frankie, and her three adorable kitties. She’s also a talented painter and artist, proving her creativity doesn’t stop at animal care.

Fuelled by candy, cheesies, and a whole lot of kindness, Jolene brings positivity, compassion, and a strong work ethic to everything she does.

Fun fact: Kind by nature, strong by choice.

Angela

Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant & Team Energizer

Angela began her veterinary career in the equine industry, where she developed a strong foundation in animal care and handling. In 2018, she transitioned into small animal practice and quickly discovered her true passion. She has since earned her Anesthesia Certificate and continues to expand her knowledge in veterinary medicine.

What Angela loves most about her role is being able to help animals and make a difference in their lives every day.

Outside of work, Angela is a proud dog mom to Mako, her protective 7-year-old German Shepherd, and Easton, her goofy, one eyed 11-year-old Boxer. She enjoys going for runs, spending time with her daughter, and listening to country music.

Angela loves being part of the Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic team because of her fun coworkers who make every day enjoyable.

Fun line: “Don’t talk to me before I’ve had my morning coffee.”

Jasmine

Veterinary Assistant

Jasmine has been immersed in veterinary medicine since 2015, bringing patience, and a love of chaos to every shift. Whether she’s handling a stubborn cat, a rambunctious dog, or the clinic’s resident tiny tyrants, Jasmine thrives on the challenge — especially when it comes to the aggressive chihuahuas. Her technical skills also make her invaluable in keeping clinic computers, and printers running smoothly.

Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and traveling, always finding ways to stay active and explore new places. At home, she shares her life with a three-year-old hairless cat and a 16-year-old one-eyed chihuahua, who keep things lively.

Why I love being part of the Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic team:
I enjoy working alongside a talented, passionate team who share my commitment to providing excellent care for every patient.

Personal Motto:
“My secret weapon with nervous pets? A little song... and some questionable dance moves.”

Phoebe

Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant & Animal Advocate Extraordinaire

Phoebe is a compassionate Veterinary Assistant with a background in Emergency medicine and a special interest in animal behavior. With over five years of experience in Emergency medicine, she now balances her time in general practice during the week while continuing to work emergency shifts on weekends.

Phoebe is passionate about advocating for animals and their health/wellbeing and thrives on the challenge of figuring out how to keep every patient happy, healthy and understood.

Phoebe is the owner of Mabli, a petite Husky X with striking blue eyes and a firecracker personality. Originally from the UK, Phoebe brings her enthusiastic character to both work and life.

When not at the clinic, Phoebe spends time volunteering with a local dog rescue, where her adventurous spirit takes her to remote, often fly in communities in Northern Ontario, where she assists at spay/neuter and wellness clinics to make sure animals in hard-to-reach areas get the care they need.

Phoebe loves being part of the Wasaga Beach Vet Clinic family. She loves expanding her skills through continuing education, where every day is a chance to help pets—and their parents, and working alongside teammates who have become more like family.

A quote to describe Phoebe:
“Small in size, big in heart- pure chaos management; fuelled by coffee, powered by compassion and accessorized with dog hair- basically a tiny superhero in scrubs conquering one day at a time.”
